| Roger Snider began shooting memorable photos as a child, learning first to snap photos from high above the earth while working with his father, an aerial photographer. While he tends to keep his feet on the ground these days, his early experience remains evident in his determination to always capture the largest possible picture regardless of the assignment. Known primarily for his work these last six years as the man behind the Dos Equis “Most Interesting Man in the World” campaign, Roger's versatility and ability to move seamlessly between the worlds of fashion, advertisting, editorial, and photojournalism have made him one of the most demanded photographers in the country. Whether it be on a 20 story billboard on Sunset Blvd. in LA or Broadway in NYC, in Time Magazine or National Geographic, campaigns for Toyota and Geico, or his well-known series of romanticized tricked-out big rigs around the world, Roger's work everywhere you look. Often called in to re-imagine troubled campaigns, Roger's flexibility on set, rapport with subjects, and ability to get and deliver the needed shots quickly and on schedule put him at the top of a game otherwise riddled with unmet expectations and less-than-perfect results. Educated first in an airplane and then earning his B.F.A. at the University of Florida, Roger cut his teeth on the gallery scene in New York City before relocating to Los Angeles in 2003. |
